Both versions of Macbeth shared similarities. They were both similar because the story still happened the same. The events that happened to the characters were the same in both versions. For example Lady Macbeth at the end was crazy and ended killing herself.
The differance between both versions of Macbeth is that the first version was very original. The second one was modern and the characters are younger than in the first version. The first version was about how Macbeth wanted to be King while in the second one he wanted to be the Mob leader.

I completely agree with this post. I liked how you tell us how in the first version Macbeth strives to be king while in the movie he wants to be a mob leader. Very nice nice post.
